Dr. Cauthen served as a resident with the Surgery Clinic of Tupelo after graduating from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and greatly enjoyed the experience. In 2014, once he completed his training in general surgery, he decided to stay in Tupelo and join the staff at Surgery Clinic of Tupelo.

Dr. Cauthen finds satisfaction in his ability to relate to his patients in a down-home, common-sense fashion while providing world-class care at the same time. When he’s not with patients, he can be found enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his family.
